By 2019, the successful duo of producers and composers y formed by Luis Jimenez y and Agustín Zubillaga ya was a recognized force in the Latin American music industry. However, recording studios were not big enough to contain their artistic ambition, so they decided to form LAGOS, a musical proyecto with which they dreamed of going from being behind the consoles to playing on the most important stages in the world.
Just five years later, the group holds the song with the all-time record for the most consecutive days on Spotify's Top 200 in Mexico (Mónaco ft. Danny Ocean, with more than 1,000 days on the charts), achieved platinum status in Mexico, double platinum, and gold in the United States, landed a #1 on the general Mexican radio charts (No se acaba hasta que acabe, with Reik), and even won their first Latin Grammy as composers of the worldwide hit Ojos Marrones, performed by Venezuelan artist Lasso.
Following this dizzying wave of success, LAGOS will release their highly anticipated second album, Alta Fidelidad, in 2024, a collection of elegant pop songs produced by the band themselves, packed with melodies and nostalgic lyrics that will serve as a soundtrack for those who live looking for love in the most unlikely places.
