Francisco Céspedes, also known as Pancho Céspedes, is a Cuban-Mexican singer-songwriter born on February 28, 1957 in Santa Clara, Cuba. Céspedes is known for his distinctive style that fuses bolero with jazz and other Latin genres. Before dedicating himself fully to music, he studied medicine in Cuba, but his passion for art led him to abandon that career to follow his true calling.
Céspedes gained prominence in 1998 with the release of his debut album, “Vida Loca,” which included hits such as the eponymous song, “Vida Loca.” This album earned him several awards and international recognition, including a Quintuple Platinum Record in Spain and several Amigo Awards.
